Monster Island

Monster Island, The Asylum’s 2019 mockbuster released around the same period as Godzilla King of the Monsters is about an Island called Monster Island. Here, a monster may have been discovered. The Monster Island, if your will, is where you can find out more.


As an asylum film, it has the budget of a (more info) huge kid's meal and utilizes it wisely, concentrating on a few human characters and keeping its big stars in one set where all their sequences can be recorded during lunch break. Keep in mind, however, that this is the kaiju film genre and that they are very successful, so maybe The Asylum will do a better job.
